Gas prices drop 9.5 cents

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board set new maximum allowable fuel price on Wednesday, effective Thursday. The maximum allowable prices for all grades of gasoline dropped almost nine-and-a-half cents, the maximum allowable price for ultra-low-sulphur diesel dropped by just over eight-and-a-half cents, the maximum allowable price for furnace oil dropped by almost 8.9 cents and the maximum allowable price for propane dropped by 1/400th of a cent. The maximum allowable prices prior to the change are also included for comparison purposes.
