Rachel promises to fit right in
Published Monday August 25th, 2008

Hi! My name is Rachel! I am a petite gray female with some white markings on my chest, stomach and the tips of my paws. I was surrendered to the shelter this summer as a young mother cat along with my two kittens, which immediately went into foster care. Now, here I am waiting for my turn for someone to come and sweep me up into their arms.
My friends Phoebe and Monica are here with me in the room, all of us are waiting for our special day. However, they can tell you their stories another day.
I, on the other paw, am rather a cute girl — if you were to adopt me I would try my best to fit into your life and make it seem as though I was there all along. I am so small I wouldn't even get in the way if I was in your home. At least I would try not to. I am a very friendly cat who is always looking to make new friends. Perhaps you could adopt me so I could be your friend, too?
For more information about adopting, please call the SPCA at 622-0645 or come visit the shelter, located in the Chatham Industrial Park on 128 Dan Cripps St. The shelter is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday. The shelter is closed on Mondays.
Don't forget to check out the pictures on our Facebook site under the Save the Miramichi SPCA group to see the many other cats, kittens and dogs here at the shelter.
